Cyber Security Analyst

Quiet Professionals, LLC is seeking a Computer System Analyst III to join our team in support of the Distributed Common Ground/Surface System – Marine Corps (DCGS-MC).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
• Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
• Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
• Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
• Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.

Requirements:   

• Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• 5 years of Computerized System experience: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating systems.
• Windows/Linux Experience: Proficient in either Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform system maintenance tasks, including patch management, system updates, and security hardening for both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Networking/Database Experience: Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and routing.
• POAM Experience: Knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) in accordance with NIST guidelines.
• Ability to assess and prioritize security risks and vulnerabilities to develop comprehensive mitigation plans.
• Scripting/Automation Experience:
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks.

Preferred:   

• CompTIA Security+
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
