As a MaterialHandler, you will support the Production lines in the movement offreight, stock, supplies and other materials from fabrication/storage areas tothe point of production. You will beprimarily on a forklift moving material, as well as loading and unloading itemsonto trucks, shelves, or pallets by hand. You will coordinate material movement to meetproduction schedules and maintain continuous flow of material.

We trust and empower our employees to act asowners, make decisions, and innovate to succeed. RESPONSIBILITIES Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks.
Must be licensed on sit down/standup industrial trucks Enforce 5S, 7 wastes and other lean principles in the team/area Reports of any shortage to Group Leader or Supervisor to prevent a stop in production. Communicate with the Planning Group on ordering line side parts from the warehouse. Conduct and direct cycle counts as needed Responsible to accommodate requests of LP Production personnel.
Read diagrams, spreadsheets for parts to ASC operation Utilize SAP and WM data management program to look up parts Knowledge of carousel machines (holds breakers) Perform other work as directed by Supervision. How will you make impact? By the following requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18yrs of age Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment Knowledge of sit down and stand up industrial trucks Knowledge on all the operations of the assembly/fabrication/process of the area Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools Abilities: Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material Make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
