- Provide overall leadership, guidance and direction to cutting operation.
- Accountable for the department effectiveness.
- Participates in daily management meetings.
- Monitor and manage staffing levels in cutting.
- Manage and provide leadership to hourly production workforce.
- Ensures production employees in the department receive adequate training.
- Manage compliance to existing processes/procedures within the manufacturing operation.
- Spearhead ongoing initiative of manufacturing process improvement.
- Support the facility-wide safety effort.
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to all GMP, safety, food safety, SQF, HACCP and food defense procedures.
- QMS Mode Ownership. Ensure all requirements are implemented, monitored, and sustained.
- Mon - Fri occasional weekends
- 5% Travel

- Must be able to lift minimal 35 pounds as needed

Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, strongly preferred - Engineering or Printing/Manufacturing degree helpful
- 5+ years of progressive management and supervision.
- Cutting experience desired.
- Supervisory experience in an organized environment.
- Continuous Improvement implementation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, develop, implement, and document systems for maintenance and control of products and processes.
- Strong knowledge of Employee/Labor Relations (organized workforce experience desired).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Word & Excel.
