PRINCIPAL ACTIVITES:
- Monitor product flow on the cutting line for defects
- Log and report defects
- Monitor all rollers and conveyor belts and reports issues or concerns
- Assist with cutting blade changeouts
- Prepare cutting blades and paperwork for shipping
- Dimension checks
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
1) Conveyor belts
2) Line roller
3) Blade types
SAFETY:
- Understand and follow all safety procedures
o Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
- Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
- Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures
- Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Must be able to work 10%-50% of shift while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.
- Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy.
- Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
- Must be able to safely walk and work around machinery.
- Needs to be able to go up and down stairs 60% of the time.
