CUT Bartender
The CUT Bartender will work in close cooperation with the barbacks and cocktail servers in every aspect of guest service including but not limited to beverage preparation, delivering food and beverage to bar guest and the tables, clearing and resetting bar tops and tables, bread service and assisting in keeping the “sidebar” service stations, as well as other functions indicated by management. It is a very important function for bartenders and barbacks to be knowledgeable about all food and beverage offerings and related service protocol, communicate clearly and be attentive and friendly to all guests. The CUT Bartender must be able to serve guests in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring 100% guest satisfaction. The level of service must be consistent with established “CUT” and “Sidebar” standards in every respect.
The Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group has established CUT and Sidebar with the objectives of providing a unique cuisine paired with a special ambiance in order to create a memorable fine dining experience for our guests. CUT and Sidebar are part of our continuous effort to offer superlative quality and the highest level of gracious and courteous guest service. To perform successfully, CUT and Sidebar employees must not only have the qualifications and abilities to perform each of the essential functions of this position, but also must continually strive to meet or surpass The Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group's objectives and exacting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
- Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
- Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
- Assist with bar inventory.
Preferred qualifications
Preferred candidates possess a minimum of two years of bartending experience in a high-end bar. They should also possess the ability to pour, mix and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits and drinks as well as handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

Hourly Rate: $18.50
