WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for counter and phone in sales orders. You will address our customers needs with product sales, service, rentals & signs. You will be responsible for keeping the warehouse and inventory organized, clean, accurate and maintain a safe work environment. You will handle cash & credit transactions and reconcile the daily sales orders. You will communicate with operations and project management team when a customer has rental or service needs.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
- Answer high volume of phone calls
- Payment processing for sales orders (Checks, Cash, Cards, Billing to Account)
- Quote customers in a timely manner
- Greet customers in a professional and engaging manner
- Process sales orders with accuracy
- Persuasively and professionally sell optional services, rentals, traffic control set up, traffic control plans
- Cold call using various methods such as craigslist and company directory
- Maintain counter and show room clean and organized
- Provide customers with solutions for any aspect of their jobs requiring any parking lot or traffic control needs
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
- Achieve maximum sales profitability by evaluating customer purchase history and current market value
- Keep abreast of product applications and changes in market adhering to MUTCD guidelines
- Create, receive and review requisition requests
- Manage inventory levels utilizing NetSuite and other methods to forecast ordering and current stock levels
- Manage the logistics and production schedules of customer orders and working with warehouse staff and sign shop staff to ensure timely and proper delivery
- Balance prior days transactions (both cash drawer and sales receipts)

- Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of Customer Service experience
- Traffic control product knowledge

PAY:
The hourly wage range for candidates is $20.00 to $23.00. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type, and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. Traffic Management, Inc. is a multi-state employer and this hourly range may not reflect positions in other states.
