PURPOSE OF POSITION
Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group is committed to providing world-class service to our customers. Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) are a critical component of the sales process. The CSR will collaborate with the customer and other members of the BBRG organization to ensure that the details of customer orders and inquiries are handled professionally, timely and accurately.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
The following positions report to Customer Service Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Key Accountabilities
- Respond both timely and accurately to all customer inquiries & orders regarding price and product availability
- Process quotations
- Process sales orders
- Work with Production Planning & shipping on customer requirements
- Work Closely with other BBRG locations
- Allocate inventory
- Process customer complaints
- Respond both timely and accurately to all customer inquiries & orders regarding price and product availability Respond both timely and accurately to all customer inquiries & orders regarding price and product availability Maintain and understand spreadsheets related to customer service metrics
- Respond both timely and accurately to all customer inquiries & orders regarding price and product availability Back up for other CSR's both in Oakland City and Wilkes-Barre
- Anticipate customer needs
- Look for opportunities to upsell
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 3-5 years as Customer Service Representative, Inside sales, or equivalent
Experience, preferably with commercial or industrial products.
Skill At: Detail Oriented, able to follow defined processes, interpersonal skill, problem solving, communication, handling customer inquiries, solving Sales and Customer Service problems.
Knowledge of: Sales and Customer Service procedures. SAP, Microsoft Office.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Conditions include environmental (hot/cold, inside/outside, noise level, lighting, ventilation, etc.) and social (works with the public, works under deadlines, works alone, etc.).
The employee lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
