Customer Service Rep

Trailers seeks detail-oriented independent contractors to help customers connect with insurance companies. In this role, you will verify the callers' information to match them with the adequate insurance provider. This is a remote, independent contractor role that provides customer support through phone. The program is heavily scripted with short, fast-paced calls. Please note, we cannot accept licensed insurance agents for this opportunity due to potential conflict of interest.

• Earn up to $18 per hour
  
• Contractors are guaranteed a minimum of 37 minutes for each hour if logged in and available for the full 60 minutes.

• Flexible schedule opportunities – you schedule your hours!
  
• Client hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 11:00pm CST, Saturday 8:00am to 7:00pm, Sunday, 11:00am to 4:00pm CST.
  
• Hours are limited after 6pm and all Sunday hours.
  

• Excellent Customer Service skills needed to build rapport and assist customers.
  
• Sales skills needed to "assume the sale" and encourage customers to take the next step and speak with a licensed insurance agent.
  
• Overcoming objections- contractors must bring strong ability and comfort level with overcoming objections.
  
• Multi-tasking skillsneeded to engage with customers while navigating online systems.

Technology Requirements

• Personal computer (no tablet)
  
• Broadband internet connection, with at least 10 Mbps download speed
  
• Wired internet connection, like Cable, Fiber Optic or DSL (no Wi-Fi or mobile internet)
  
• Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
  
• Wired USB headset with microphone (Gaming headsets not accepted)
  
• Mac users: Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.
