We have an opening for a friendly, outgoing, and detail oriented Customer Service representative. Experience in Customer Service is required.

Position:
The Customer Service Representative will work with customers to provide excellent service, resolve customer's problems and strengthen customer relationships in a compassionate and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, will work well with co-workers, and will have an excellent work ethic.
Schedule:
- Full-Time, Monday - Thurs 9am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm.
- No nights or weekends required
- Office location is in the Village of Lancaster NY
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Nurture Strong customer relationships
- Answer customer change requests and provide high quality Customer Service related to payments, billing problems, claims, and general insurance product inquiries.
- Provide Compassionate Claims assistance as needed
- Input detailed documentation of Customer Service interactions into Agency Management Software
- Work with customers and their respective insurance company to resolve their issues.
- Look for opportunities to Cross-Sell and Up-Sell coverages and policies a customer might need.
- Verify customer addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
- Prepare insurance quotes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
- Previous experience in Customer Service or sales is required.
- Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train qualified individuals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year based on experience and insurance background.
