Job Summary:
Our Junk Removal Specialists are the company's face to our customers and donation partners. The day of a driver/specialist will involve meeting at our truck in the morning, driving to customer locations, loading the truck with material they want removed, sorting material into donation/recycling/landfill categories and dropping the material off at those locations. Some portion of the day may be spent setting out yard signs or door hanger flyers. The days end at the truck parking location by prepping for the next day's work. The Junkluggers is the eco-friendly alternative to traditional furniture and junk removal. We've made a commitment to environmental responsibility and supporting local charity partners through donating and recycling before dumping. We believe the Earth needs us to grow as a business so that more things are reused, recycled, and/or disposed of responsibly. The Cincinnati franchise is owned by a veteran and former Amazon engineer thats focused on taking better care of team members, customers, and community.
Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles safely. (No CDL needed, training provided)
• Plan jobs and educate customers on the value of our services.
• Keep accurate work records using company technology.
• Safely load, transport, and unload customers items.
• Work with community donation, recycling, and disposal partners to dispose of items the green way.
• Choose where to donate/recycle and how to safely and efficiently complete a job.
• Maintain high standards for clean and functional equipment with truck inspections and weekly washes.
• Execute guerilla marketing tactics like gifting free junk removal and placing yard signs and door hangers.
• Treat team members and customers with care and respect by providing high quality Customer Service.
  

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record check
• Excellent communication skills this is a customer-facing role
• High moral standards and insistence on always doing the right thing
• A "let's figure it out" mentality with the ability to problem solve on the fly to get the job done
• Ability to lift 75 lbs consistently throughout the day
• Ability to learn and use technology in the field
• Safety conscious mindset

• Comfortable and competent with technology; shops online, uses google maps when driving
