Customer Service Data Entry Order Entry Specialist

Aerospace & Marine International (AMI) has been providing weather services to the maritime industry since 1991.

AMI maintains three operations centers in the USA and UK. These centers are fully networked and work together to deliver global 24-hour weather forecasting services.

Our skilled meteorologists and support staff provide optimal solutions for our client’s operational challenges. With our worldwide experience and extensive global meteorological and oceanographic data, we help our clients increase their operational efficiency and lower their costs. Today’s technological world and increasing environmental and legal concerns require a higher level of meteorological and oceanographic support than was needed in the past. AMI leads the industry with its team of chartered and certified meteorologists, oceanographic and forensic experts, and knowledgeable application specialists and engineers.

We are presently in need of Customer support, Data Entry, Order Entry Specialist.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• The entry of ship daily position reports into the routing database.

• Inputting client orders.

• Professionally address customer requests

• Other administrative tasks as required.

Most client communication is conducted via email, but occasional verbal interaction is required via telephone.

The position requires strong organization and detail orientation skills, with independent and teamwork capabilities. Also, strong written and verbal communication skills, with computer application competency are a must. Candidates must project a willingness to learn, a desire to advance education and qualifications. High School level or equivalent education required.

This position is full-time, works eight-hour shifts. These shifts are on weekday evenings, and on weekends - day & evenings - including public holidays. Please note that we are a weather company, and the weather is a 24x7 job.

This job is NOT a remote position.

There is potential for this position to lead into progressively more technical and full-time roles within the organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
