Customer Service / Customer Care Advocate - Call Center

Oak Ridge Waste and Recycling is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative for their Danbury location!!

MUST HAVE CALL CENTER or RECEPTIONIST EXPERIENCE and be computer savvy with intermediate Excel, Microsoft, and other application experience.

BI-LINGUAL PORTUGESE OR SPANISH SPEAKING A PLUS!!!

Monday thru Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM. $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job description

• handle large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring that the customers feel supported and valued.
• Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers as needed.
• Building lasting relationships with clients and other Call Center team members based on trust and reliability.
• Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
• Understanding and striving to meet or exceed Call Center metrics while providing excellent consistent Customer Service.
• Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may better suit client needs.
• Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position.
• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures'
• Bilingual a plus
