The Helper Bees (THB) was created to fill an obvious need in an underserved community. Inspired by love and brought to reality through passion and determination, The Helper Bees was founded to empower older adult citizens and their families in their search for quality, affordable in-home care providers. We do this by providing older adults the ability to easily review, choose, and access affordable quality in-home helpers.

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Associate, your role extends beyond top-tier Customer Service to include engaging prospective clients and collaborating with internal teams to enhance our products. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive experience for our clients and customers, making a significant impact on our overall Customer Service and success.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Call prospective customers and help them understand what we do and how we can help them.
• Help troubleshoot problems with customers and providers.
• Work with our development team on any requests on changes to any of our products.
• Contribute ideas on how to streamline any of our Customer Service/success procedures.

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Professionalism on the phone.
• Patient with customers
• Creative, as we have to constantly problem solve and change approaches.
• Tech knowledgeable, as we are constantly building new tools and need people who can learn quickly.
• Passionate about helping older adults remain independent at home

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a call center/Customer Service or similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus!

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain at your designated workstation for the duration of the workday
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a phone and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• The ability to observe details at close range (typically on a computer screen)
• This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a designated work environment conducive to professional phone calls and sensitive data.
