Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a people-person with strong computer skills who enjoys helping customers on the telephone and the Internet. Candidate must thrive on providing Customer Service and have a thorough attention to detail. Knowledge of golf & travel is a plus.
Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills required.
- An upbeat, pleasant telephone voice and the ability to gently and politely lead the conversation
- Strong computer skills including PC, email, Internet, and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs as technology dictates
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- A self-motivated team player, who thrives in a self-disciplined environment
- Well organized with good time management skills
Duties:
- Answering the telephone when customers call to plan and book their golf vacation
- Using the computer to plan, quote and book golf vacations
- Using the Internet and live chat to walk customers through various options for their trip
- Responding by email to on-line golf vacation quote requests
- Maintaining contact with customers utilizing top-notch follow-up skills
- Opportunities for cross-training as business needs dictate
