Customer Service Advisor
Product Support Department
Reports To: Product Support Manager
Builds customer relationships by traveling to customer locations to perform follow-up activities on complete goods, parts and service sales, address customer concerns, promote aftermarket sales, furnish technical support where applicable and collect profiling information in order to enhance the customer experience. Develops assigned sales territory to maximize market potential and sales volume.
Job Duties:
- Markets and sells both OEM and aftermarket ground engaging tools, undercarriage and misc. wear parts.
- Markets and sells repair services for all OEM equipment that West Side Tractor represents as well as competitive manufacturers
- Markets and sells value added programs such as extended warranties, maintenance plans, machine inspections, overhauls, standard job quotes, and special parts promotions
- Performs follow-up calls at customer locations on complete good and major parts and service sales
- Addresses customer concerns and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorily
- Assists the Sales Department with after sales calls to ensure equipment operates to the customer’s satisfaction
- Provide introductions and limited technical support on John Deere Worksite Solutions
- Participates in West Side’s Safety Program
- Completes training assigned by manager
- Other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills & Knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, service, training or other related work to our industry
- Solid parts and machinery knowledge
- Excellent Customer Service and selling skills
- Proficient in computer use including Internet, data entry and Microsoft Office Programs
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and work flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per the company policy
