The role of the Commercial Move Coordinator is to be the liaison between PDX Movers and their many partnerships with final-mile, white-glove deliveries, residential household goods, and corporate moves. You will be working closely with your counterpart in these companies to provide the best customer service experience for our mutual clients. Internally, you will work in tandem with the sales and operations teams to make sure the company can complete these jobs on the requested days, with the correct number of crew members, etc. Lastly, you will need to have superior written and verbal communication so the job is set up smoothly for the crew, the customer is aware of our process, and the job is completed to everyone's satisfaction.

 

This role adds value to the organization by coordinating moves within the standards set by PDX Movers, ensuring the work is accurate and completed within the timeframe given with a high level of customer service.

 

We are looking for someone that is detail-oriented, reliable, confident in their work, and able to manage their tasks independently. This person will be managing high-level clients and must maintain positivity and professionalism!

Overview of Daily Tasks:

  • Client communication in a timely manner through email, phone, & text.

  • Check-in calls with the customer before, during, and after the move to ensure things are going smoothly and solve any potential issues that may arise. These will include notating any specific details or challenges.

  • Maintain an accurate log of repair people to ensure the best service for clients.

  • Ensure the crew has the necessary equipment and tools needed for a successful day.

  • Paperwork is prepared prior to the move, and records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Ensure the calendar is accurate and all included information is sourced correctly

  • Coordinate with the dispatch and operations team on crew assignments/logistics for jobs

  • Communicate and facilitate warehouse tasks for shipments

  • Work with the production team on job specifics and execution

  • Assist with job estimates when the sales team needs support

  • Handle billing and invoicing for all commercial jobs

  • Understand commercial tariffs and pricing
