We are seeking a talented, customer-centric Showroom Representative to join our team. As a Showroom Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in exploring our products, and ensuring a positive showroom experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer satisfaction, and a strong understanding of the products on display.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the showroom.
- Assist customers in understanding product features, benefits, and specifications.
- Provide personalized product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- Answer in-person and online customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products and services.
- Take online and in-person appointments to help educate our customers on our offering, guiding them through steps to purchase.
- Showroom Maintenance:
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Arrange and display products in an appealing manner to attract customers.
- Monitor and replenish samples on the showroom floor.
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide support in closing sales and meeting targets.
- Process customer orders and facilitate the purchase process.
- Assist in conducting product demonstrations when required.
- Queue Management
- Ensure that customer inquiries are being responded to in a timely manner
- Answer incoming phone calls & provide general information
- Maintain constant contact & appropriate follow-up with showroom opportunities to close sales.
- Customer Feedback:
- Collect and relay customer feedback to the management team.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the showroom layout, product offerings, and customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a showroom setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cabinetry products and the ability to convey this information to customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-starter. Understand what needs to be done and take the initiative to do so.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Shopify, Netsuite, Front, and Talkdesk preferable.
Compensation:
This is an hourly role – the target compensation is 23/hr.
Working Conditions:
This position is based in our New York City showroom and is scheduled for Monday-Friday.
