Form of workSEWS- Customer Service Center at KCSC. Although located at SEWS Lexington office this is a flexible Work From Home position, which means an associate has the flexibility to work from home, but is expected to report to the local office as needed or required.
The Customer Relations Specialist will act as the primary window person and first point of contact for OEM Automotive customers in Production Control and Procurement. This person will obtain customer information, forecasts, and requirements and coordinate with internal departments to ensure exact delivery and respond to customer requests quickly to provide excellent customer service.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Act as primary contact for assigned customers in Production Control and Procurement departments.
- Obtain customer information and communicate information to internal departments.
- Build and maintain good Customer Relations by providing prompt and accurate service to ease claim negotiations, negotiate due date extensions, and gain information on forecasts, orders, and projects.
- Analyze customer forecasts and report changes. Learn and understand customer vehicles and part number trend. Prepare weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and new model forecasts.
- Manage all customer orders and supplement requests ensuring on-time delivery. Coordinate with 3rd party warehouse contractor to support customer orders and schedule to prevent delivery problems and delays.
- Track new model start-up. Issue new model information and trial orders and forecasts.
- Track part arrival, negotiate due date delays as needed, and monitor inventory to ensure a smooth start-up.
- Track current model build out parts. Issue customer build out timing and letters, check countdown data against customer data, monitor inventory to ensure demand is met, and assist with minimizing obsolescence.
- Expedite and manage the resolution of customer complaints and issues.
- Coordinate packaging changes and ECI change timing. Negotiate customer claims and issue obsolescence claims.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Business/Supply Chain Management or similar study preferred.
- 3-5 years related experience, Automotive industry an asset.
- Strong data analysis, attention to detail, and time management skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- MS Office Suite skills including Excel required.
