The Customer Relations Specialist (CSR) is a customer-facing, business to business (B2B) sales operations role responsible for providing a positive customer service and sales experience to Sy-Klone’ Customers, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket customers. The position interacts daily with customers to facilitate product pricing requests, complete sales calls, coordinate customer planning, scheduling and other order parameters. This works onsite at the Company headquarters to proactively manage issues with appropriate internal departments to address customer needs.


Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process orders, acknowledgements and ship date advice to customers, including Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders and Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) validation and tracking

• Serve as the primary contact point for customer requests, sales inquiries, and Customer/ OEM metric management.

• Creation and distribution of sales quotes, responses, and various information internal teams, aftermarket distribution customers and equipment manufacturers

• Ability to promote and sell Sy-Klone products on inbound/outbound sales calls, introducing new products or product alternatives through comprehensive knowledge of Sy-Klone products and capabilities.

• Deliver detail orientated, accurate and timely data to internal and external customers. Responsible for customer training on updated processes/procedures. Identification of Continuous Process Improvement opportunities.

• Recommend and communicate credit and purchase terms, pricing, product availability and lead time in accordance with standard procedures and customer set-up requirements

• Actively participate in the collection of accounts receivables. Create and manage return goods for warranty processing, produce customs and other forms as needed to support customer operations across U.S. and international markets.

• Act as liaison between customers and the business providing information about products, company website navigation, information retrieval, as well as product features and benefits.

• Monitor scheduled shipment dates and confirm critical shipments to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed

• Monitor and manage communication of unexpected demand fluctuations to internal customers in an effective and timely manner.

• Provide exceptional customer service to External and Internal customers, demonstrate high levels of collaboration and proactiveness to ensure customer expectations are met.

• Other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned.


Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience building relationships over the telephone to deliver positive customer experience, support sales process, and solve complex customer problems; Ability to function thrive in a high-paced and self-directed environment.
  • Experience supporting a technology project implementation as a key business partner and experience with accurate manual data entry and data management preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships over the telephone to deliver positive customer experience, support sales process, and solve complex customer problems.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication, demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, and strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the identification and advancement of continuous process improvement, problem resolution, and Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong focus on customer service to meet customer demands while creating a win/win relationship between the customer and Sy-Klone.
  • Strong proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, and navigating and accessing data, forms, and other information in internal company systems and customer portals, experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software preferred.
  • Ability to write work instructions and training aids and to conduct training to others.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or two years of higher education
  • 2 years sales, sales support, customer service, or inside sales experience in a business-to-business setting.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered to fulfill these requirements.

  • General mobility within office, warehouse, and production environments.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs at times.
  • Normal auditory, visual acuity, and dexterity
