As the first point of contact for our department or division, you'll be the friendly face and voice guiding our community members and the public. Your role will involve answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and assisting customers with various services, all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and positivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the public and our department/division.
- Handle incoming phone calls and walk-in inquiries with efficiency and courtesy.
- Provide accurate information and guidance to citizens, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Assist with routine administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Collaborate with colleagues on special projects to support departmental initiatives.
Job Qualifications Education, experience, and training that are required or desirable in order to effectively perform the job at the time of hire. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements and/or substitutions may be requested and require the approval of HR.
- Proficient computer and data entry skills required.
- Customer service experience is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- General knowledge of the City to answer questions from the public.
- Proficiency in using basic business software (word processing, spreadsheets, email, presentations) and basic office equipment.
