Function:
As a Customer Service Representative at TII, you provide exceptional customer service to ensure our travelers have appropriate trip protection. You guide our insureds through our plan options, so they are knowledgeable about the many offerings to choose from. You take pride in knowing you’re helping our insureds travel safe, travel relaxed – Travel Insured!

What you will do:
  • Communicate with travel agents and customers via phone (inbound calls), e-mail, and various social media platforms to provide accurate information about our products and services to enable them to purchase policies that meet their specific travel needs and concerns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer requests for information on policies based on their needs and/or travel concerns.
  • Assist customers with questions, policy changes and/or cancellations as needed.
  • Recommend products that best suit the customer’s travel protection needs.
  • Adhere to Travel Insured scripts and best practices when dealing with customer and agent interactions.
  • Promptly resolve service issues and complaints with empathy and in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of all customer interactions, transactions, and all steps that were taken.
  • Serve as a customer advocate in all interactions to provide an outstanding Customer Experience.
  • Embrace and model TII’s organizational values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will bring to C&F:
  • Service-oriented, friendly, and caring attitude with the intention of satisfying the customer.
  • Ability to assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Committed, conscientious desire to perform at your best.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must hold a Personal Lines license or be able to attain the license within 90 days (training provided).
  • Call center experience is a plus, customer service experience required.

Crum & Forster is committed to ensuring a workplace free from discriminatory pay disparities and complying with applicable pay equity laws. Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $34,500 to a maximum of $57,500. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
