Overview:

Company Information: Horton, Inc., a global airflow industry leader in reliability, service and innovation has an opening for a Customer Care Representative to work in our Roseville, MN location.

 

Customer Care Rep Summary:

As a Customer Care Representative you will provide timely and courteous customer assistance to Horton's customer base. Daily tasks: Respond to customer inquiries, maintain a good relationship with customers, address ordering and delivery issues, work with the production team to coordinate urgent orders and satisfy customer needs. Over time, we will also work with you to develop a technical skillset around Horton's product offerings to be able to offer phone based, tier one support. 

 

Responsibilities:

Customer Care Representative Responsibilities:

  • Act as main point of contact for customers and potential customers.
  • Enters orders by phone, fax, email, mail, and EDI. Handles calls and inquiries from customers.
  • Respond to invoice issues, routing issues, tracking information, freight costs, pricing, and projected delivery time.
  • Refers leads regarding potential new clients to appropriate sales staff.
  • Aids customers who experience difficulties with shipments or need emergency help. Ensures that emergency orders are given priority and receive appropriate shipping attention.
  • Develop technical skillset around all product categories (Fan and Clutch). Be able to provide end user technical phone support.
  • Function as a customer advocate within the plant locations, helping to ensure the customers’ needs are understood and satisfied.
  • Coordinate with the local production staff to improve our customers overall experience.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction on all transactions, referring problems that cannot be personally resolved or those that are outside limits of authority to the Customer Service Manager.
  • Log and track customer issues and complaints in CRM according to work instructions for Customer Complaint Process.
  • Work with production planning and purchasing to provide information on expected delivery dates.
  • Request and follow up on all Quick Ship Warehouse orders.
  • Work with Materials/Planning to accommodate changes in customer orders.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve any issues or discrepancies in their orders.
Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma.  Must be skilled using computers and order entry systems. Previous experience in dealing with the public is desired.

 

 

 

Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.  Relocation allowance may be provided if the individual has all of the necessary qualifications.
