PRIMARY FUNCTION

This role will serve as the primary communications interface to the customer. Supporting day-to-day updates, managing the customers entire supply chain such that they achieve continuity of supply, on time delivery (predictability), and lead time velocity for customer products. Additionally this role will interface locally with customer personnel to manage all activities and coordinate product changes with customer and RR Donnelley. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. The Customer Account Manager role utilizes a multi sourced supply base, and oversees the forecast for all the consumption points along the customers supply chain.
  2. Drives to customer internal production, lead time and inventory goals
  3. Attends various customer meetings as necessary and assume various team roles as required to support Customer Account.
  4. Must be able to interpret and communicate forecast
  5. Must be able to think strategically about program initiatives and various business situations
  6. Must be available outside of normal working hours to handle communications with international contacts. Must be able to professionally and effectively interface to customer as well as multiple RRD entities, while simultaneously serving as the customer advocate while representing and supporting RRD’s interests in all interactions.
  7. Must be able to communicate effectively, clearly and diplomatically to both customer and RRD entities.
  8. Must be able to effectively follow escalation process.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned by RR Donnelley Management

 


Required Skills
  • Requires excellent knowledge of functional area(s) related to the job or good knowledge related to a professional field of work.  Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job.  Must have advanced knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs such as MS Office or MAC word processing, spreadsheets or other programs specific to the job in order to complete job duties successfully.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments.
  • Must have strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs.

Required Experience
  •  The position requires an Associate’s Degree; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

 

The national pay range for this role is $47,900 to $77,900 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
