Responsibilities - Sheet Metal Fabricator:

• Review shop drawings to determine the method of fabrication.
• Communicate with Shop Manager and Project Coordinators regarding potential problems or concerns.
• Safely operate Sheet Metal fabrication equipment which includes shears, punch press, folding machines, press brakes, plasma cutting tables, grinders, roll forming equipment, etc.
• Locate and mark dimensions per plans, specifications, and shop drawings
• Operate shop forklift to lift or transport equipment, material, and supplies as necessary
• Comply with applicable health and safety-related rules, regulations, and procedures
• Overtime as needed
  

Qualifications/Requirements - Sheet Metal Fabricator:

• Experience with Sheet Metal fabrication and metal materials required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Analytical Skills – the ability to use logic and reasoning to solve a problem
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid Driver’s license, required
