Custodian/Maintenance Part-Time
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs custodial duties and minor store repairs. Assists in sanitation, and safety hazards while keeping the workplace clean and organized.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs cleaning duties and minor repair work. Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls.
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
- Maintain cleaning inventory and place orders for new products when needed.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Limited grounds and parking lot maintenance.
- Reports and needs for major store repair to a member of Management.
- Assists in checking for any safety hazards and corrects deficiencies as soon as possible.
- Completes daily, weekly, and monthly tasks checklist as assigned.
- Must be able to communicate with customers, management, and store team members.
- Physically able to lift, bent, stoop, climb, and reach.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Age requirement is 18 years old.
- Some maintenance and custodial experience preferred.
