Custodian/Janitor

National Gypsum Company is a fully integrated manufacturer and supplier of building and construction products worldwide including Gold Bond® BRAND gypsum wallboard, ProForm® BRAND joint treatment products and PermaBase® BRAND cement board. We have an immediate opening for a custodian, at our Waukegan facility located in the northern sector of the Chicago metropolitan area. This position will report to the Production Supervisor.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive): Dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, offices. Sanitizing break rooms, locker rooms. Safe use of chemicals. Restocking paper and soap supplies. Work in a safe manner

QUALIFICATIONS: One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment, punctuality, ability to work independently, ability to work flexible schedule / overtime, as needed.
