JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CLEANING POSITION

Position Title: Janitor/Custodian

Shift: 2nd Shift (See Hours Below)

Reports To: Vice President of Operations

FLSA Status: Part Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary

Work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:00PM-9:30PM. Approximately 15 hours per week total. Must be able to clean in a “low-key” fashion as you will be working around clients. Must keep communication and noise to a minimum during shift to not disrupt our clients operations.

The Janitor/Custodian position ensures efficient and professional cleaning operations within the specified building. This position is a working level position that ensures assigned siteare being cleaned and disinfected to their full potential. This position will require a basic level of knowledge of cleaning, and workmanship.

Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities

· Wash windows and mirrors.

· Take trash and recycling out.

· Sanitize surfaces.

· Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms.

· Sweeps, mops, and vacuum floors.

· Uses common cleaning tools.

· Refill paper product dispensers/soap dispensers

· Be observant and have a high attention to detail.

· Provide excellent customer service.

· Ensure buildings are secured during/at end of shifts.

· High initiative and reliable.

· Complete a cleaning checklist.

· Ensure all areas of the building are cleaning to set standards.

• Judgement and high level of integrity.

Physical Demands

This position requires long periods standing, walking, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• Part Time, Hourly, Non- Exempt.

• $14.50 – $16.00 per hour.

• General Office Cleaning.

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:00PM-9:30PM .

• On site – Burton location.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimally, High school diploma or GED.

• Must be 18 years of age.

• Must Possess a valid driver's license.

• Must have relievable transportation.

• Must pass a criminal background check.

• Previous Cleaning experience preferred.

Other Duties

There will be a 90-day probation period to assess performance to functions and responsibilities listed, if the probation period is fulfilled to satisfaction this will become a permanent job assignment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
