Custodian/Janitor

We are actively hiring for Custodian/Janitor for our plant in Saddle Brook, NJ

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect the entire plant
• Place orders for cleaning products and supplies
• Assist Maintenance Technician as needed
• Empty garbages and recycle
• Assist with company inventory
• Replace worn parts with hand tools when required.
• Keep accurate information in Log Books with dates
• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and are free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/ ExperienceAbility to work in a fast paced environment

• Knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate uses
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and maintenace
• Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them.
• Ability to multi task with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.
• At least 1 year in the facilities maintenance in a warehouse environment
• At least 1 year experience using cleaning and disinfecting products

Shift:

Monday to Friday 6:00AM to 3:00PM
