Heritage CUSD #8 is seeking a full-time custodian for 2nd Shift afternoon and evenings for Heritage Junior High & Elementary School in Homer, IL 61849.
Starting pay is $20.00 per hour along with single-paid health insurance 95% benefit with Health Alliance. Family and dependent insurane plans also available. The district also offers vision, dental, and life insurance elective coverage packages. Annual sick leave days and paid time-off for selected school & national holidays is also included.
Applicants with a CDL or who will fulfill CDL district-paid bus driver certification prior to start of 2021-2022 school year is required. Candidates who do not have a CDL are required to complete a CDL & Bus Driver certification, which will be paid for by the district as employment begins.
During summer months (June to mid-August), summer maintenance hours go into effect so this position is 1st shift during that period, mornings and early afternoon. The same applies to school break periods.
Extra pay is available for filling in for bus routes and/or bus driving duties which could augment hourly custodial salary when necessary.
