Form of workJOB SUMMARY (overview of job): Cleans all areas of the facility by performing assigned duties. Cleans and maintains all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility. Performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Sufficient experience to demonstrate ability to accept responsibility as an Environmental Services Aid. Preferred three to six months work experience in housekeeping or janitorial rated work environments. Individuals under the age of 18 do not operate power equipment.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Aptitudes: Ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customers. Possesses interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations.
