Duties
- Works along with other workers, setting the pace performing non-supervisory work of the same kind and level as that done by the group led.
- Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment.
- Passes on to other workers instructions received from supervisor, and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led).
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment
- Applicant must be physical fit and capable of lifting and pulling items weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally over 50 pounds.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) Check
- May be subject to an irregular hours, evening and or weekends.
- Required standing and walking on hard and carpeted surfaces with some bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of items weighing up to 20 to 40 pounds, and occasionally over 50 pounds.
- Work is usually performed indoors in areas that have adequate heat, light, and ventilation. Exposed to dirt and disagreeable odors, vibration from use of heavy equipment, and to skin irritations from strong cleaning solutions.
- Care is required to avoid serious injury when working on ladders and when moving heavy furniture and using heavy powered equipment.
Qualifications
- Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Required is prior work experience that provided the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Must possess good customer service skills in order to interact with people.
- Preferred is responsible work experience in the hospitality industry that demonstrated the ability to perform the duties stated above with minimal supervision.
- Ability to Lead other employees.

This position is for Night Shift Regular Full-time 6:30pm - 3:00am.
