Custodial Supervisor

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the custodial staff, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and submit orders as needed
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs
- Train new custodial staff members on cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Respond to and resolve any custodial-related issues or complaints from staff or visitors

Requirements:

- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is required
- Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail is a must!
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs and equipment maintenance
- Ability to operate custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of custodial staff members
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
