Under general supervision, direct, lead, assign, and perform custodial work required for the cleaning and maintenance of facilities following proper procedures and techniques for equipment and cleaning products.

1.High School graduate or equivalent (GED).

1.Two (2) years custodial experience.
2.No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, chemicals, or environmental factors in custodial service.
3.Must be able to climb/use ladders, scaffolding, and/or manlift of various heights to perform duties.
4.Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies, procedures, and communications, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
5.Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.
6.Must be able to perform all mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty.
7.You must be 18 years or older.

Set rooms according to custodial work sheet and customer specifications; arrange, move, and/or replace furniture, supplies, and miscellaneous equipment from room to room as requires; report items requiring repair to supervisor and/or Group Leaders; perform minor repairs to furniture and building fixtures, if position requires it.
