Job Summary
Provide support for the curricular change process, the Catalog editing and publication process, and the maintenance of the online degree audit system. Provide support for the student registration process, the academic scheduling process, and the degree audit process as they relate to the GT curriculum.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duty 1 -
Support the curricular change process by reviewing and managing incoming proposals; meetings for assigned Curriculum Committees and Subcommittees and assist in the preparation of the agenda and Minutes for each meeting
Job Duty 2 -
Assist with the editing and publication of the Catalog. This includes compiling approved proposals from the Academic Senate, Curriculum Committees, and their Subcommittees throughout the academic year
Job Duty 3 -
Support the maintenance, programming, and upgrade processes for the online degree audit system and coordinate efforts with the Academic Services Team
Job Duty 4 -
Support the registration process by working closely with the Registration, Records, and Customer Service team in training and information updates related to changes in the Catalog, changes in academic policies, and changes in the degree audit system. Attend other committee meetings such as the Student Regulations Committee to ensure that academic policies in the Catalog are current and accurate
Job Duty 5 -
Support the academic scheduling process by working closely with the Academic Scheduling team in training and information updates related to changes in courses, course delivery, classroom scheduling, and academic policies in the Catalog related to, for example, the unit of credit definition and related definitions, the academic calendar
Job Duty 6 -
Support the degree audit process by working closely with the Academic Services team in training and information updates related to changes in courses, changes in degree requirements, new degree programs, new minors, new certificates, new kinds of academic credentials, and so on
Job Duty 7 -
Work closely with the Technology Team to ensure that software related to Catalog editing and production, curricular change management, and degree auding is maintained and that input is provided for changes or new products
Job Duty 8 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Four to six years of job-related experience
SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of the administration of class registration and scheduling processes at the university level. This includes skills in communication, organization, regulatory interpretation and application, publication production, writing and the use of related technology.
This is not a supervisory position.
This position does not have any financial responsibilities.
This position will not be required to drive.
This role is not considered a position of trust.
This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Card).
This position will not travel
This position does not require security clearance.
