The primary function of this position is to complete the curriculum process to ensure that the curriculum includes all of the necessary components to carry out the objectives of our Kindergarten readiness program, including assessment completion and execution.
This position will be responsible for writing our very own thematic-based curriculum aimed at nurturing the whole child by offering learning opportunities and lessons that focus on the social, emotional, creative, physical, and cognitive development of children. Christian components are included each day for all ages to help children grow in their faith, understanding and love for the Lord. Each lesson is specifically written to align with the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress: Minnesota’s Early Learning Standards.
Job duties will include:
-Creating curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and will prepare children to be kindergarten ready
-Implementing a Christian Worldview into daily curriculum
-Maintain subscriptions, Pintrest boards and folders of activities and lessons to build a curriciulm library
-Office tasks such as printing, copying, spreadsheets and documents and ordering supplies
-Supporting the Education Team on completion of tasks, hosting events, accountability and training
This position requires a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and at least 5 years working in childcare or Early Childhood classrooms.
