CT/Rad Tech - Part Time
Part Time (24 hours per week)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a CT/Rad Techfor our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.
- When acting as the CT/Radiologic Technologist, performs radiologic diagnostic procedures, adheres to proper Radiation Safety procedures, and performs procedures accurately and efficiently.
- He/she also performs necessary quality control on equipment and assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills.
- As CT Tech, utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.
- CT Tech must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.
- At lease two years of experience in diagnostic imaging. A.R.R.T. registered, current BLS required. CT registry.
- Licensed in Nevada.
- Also performs quality control procedures.
