Watcher Guru is widely known as the leading source for news about cryptocurrency and finance. With over 2.1 million followers on twitter and over 5 million monthly website users, we are looking to expand our team. We are hiring a news writer for our US editorial team. This role provides an opportunity to take charge of our news-making processes and update our readers on the latest developments from the crypto, finance and blockchain space.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Deep knowledge and understanding of Search Engine Optimization.
• Optimize/content for SEO
• Produce 5 high quality articles per day
• Monitor and report on emerging trends and announcements related to the latest technological developments and announcements without bias.
• Quickly reacting to breaking news
• Writing headlines hat draw readers in.
• Spearhead creative new content styles and templates.
• Stay up to date with social media finance, crypto, and NFT trends
• Communicating with team members constantly and work together

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Journalism
• Must be located in US
• 2 years work experience in the news/media industry
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency and general finance
• Deep understanding of SEO

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
