Sets up, operates, and maintains various types of cardiopulmonary equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary disease, acute pulmonary illness and metabolic disorder.
Education and Experience:
Graduate of a two year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Registered or Certified with the National Board of Respiratory Care; good communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment.
