The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the resort's email marketing program. The CRM Marketing Manager contributes and collaborates with the marketing team to determine the ideation, creation, and execution of our online storytelling. The CRM Marketing Manager is analytical, creative, enjoys challenges, is naturally curious, and is an expert in data segmentation, utilization, and implementation via email. This is a resort-based role and not eligible for remote work.
Work Environment
- Full-time year-round hourly position reporting to the Director of Marketing.
- Typical hours are 8AM to 5PM. Office hours fluctuate seasonally.
- Winter:Days are typically five days a week, with the occasional 6thday, and weekend/holiday hours required.
- Summer: Monday through Friday with weekends off.
- Longer hours may be required when facing deadlines or other needs.
- Optional remote work available up to 1 day per pay period, May 1 through October 1.
- Spends time in an office environment and on the slopes.
- Up to 8 hours per week may be spent in other departments during peak demand periods.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging organic digital content that supports long- and short-term marketing initiatives to be distributed across email channels.
- Analyze, monitor, and communicate email performance on a regular basis.
- Develop new templates, newsletter content, and new email ideas for review by the Marketing Director & VP Marketing & Sales.
- A/B testing, Quality Assurance, and always looking for ways to improve our email efforts.
- Responsible for email story ideation based on current initiatives, department goals, and recent performance strategy analysis.
- Collaborate with communications manager and profit centers to accurately and effectively communicate promotional material via email.
- Supports marketing and otherdepartmentsas needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in related marketing roles.
- Intermediate or higher ski/snowboard abilityrequired.
- Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to last-minute changes.
- Ability to work independently in project management as well as collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience not required but preferred.
