Job Summary
We are seeking a Slate CRM Implementation Specialist to play a pivotal role in driving client success through the effective implementation of Slate CRM systems. This position, focused on ensuring client objectives are met, involves close collaboration with the AVP of Implementation Services and requires interfacing with technical resources for executing and deploying project customizations. Key responsibilities include conducting business process analysis, managing data mapping and migration, and developing tailored training programs. A crucial aspect of the role is maintaining the project timeline and identifying potential threats, ensuring smooth implementation and delivery of results that align with client goals in the nonprofit sector. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
This position works collaboratively with clients, consultants, and support staff. This position will frequently partner with and learn from industry-leading consultants as they help clients to discover solutions to their implementation challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Perform client work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor Slate CRM implementations to meet those needs.
  • Conduct detailed business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains through Slate CRM.
  • Adhere to and provide input to BWF implementation methodology, configuration and program development standards. Assist with the creation and maintenance of associated implementation artifacts.
  • Manage data mapping and migration processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data during system transitions.
  • Collaborate regularly with internal team members and clients to ensure delivery of cohesive and quality work product delivered by deadline.
  • Manage project artifacts, including updating workplans, project plans and resource requests where applicable. Provide project coordination with client and engagement team to ensure project tasks and dependencies are set and met, decision and risk logs are maintained, raise risks that impact project success.
  • Prepare presentations or training curriculum material for delivery during client meetings, training sessions and conferences.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients during and after implementation, addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Meet utilization goals related to billable client work.
  • Identify opportunities to foster new and on-going services and revenue generating initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of BWFs thought leadership in CRM technology and implementation practices.
  • Participate in ongoing internal activities as a productive and active member of the firm. These may include orientation and ongoing trainings, firm-wide client review meetings, and other skill-building activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience related to fundraising operations in higher education, healthcare, and/or other nonprofit settings.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CRM implementation, with a strong preference for experience in Slate CRM.
  • Deep understanding of nonprofit operations and fundraising processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional project coordination skills and ability to manage activities related to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as being a strong cross-functional team player.
  • Analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, and a solid strategic thinking ability for developing client recommendations and other deliverables.
  • Solid time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience; professional certification welcome.

Work Environment/Conditions
  • This position can be remote or based in our Minneapolis office (locally based employees are expected to maintain a hybrid office presence).
  • Position requires ability to work in a stationary position for majority of workday.
  • Continuous use of computer.
  • Frequent communication with team and clients via zoom and in person.
  • This is an exempt position that requires at least 40 hour of work per week but due to the nature of this role, additional hours are required when deadlines need to be met.
  • Overnight travel to client sites, conferences or firm meetings is sometimes required (up to 15%).

Compensation and Benefits
Annual base salary range of $70,000 to $95,000 based on qualifications and experience.
