This Critical Care Technician opportunity is for the float pool and offers a convenient night shift schedule.

 

Northern Nevada Health System is a regional multi-facility system that has excelled at offering quality care to residents of the greater Truckee Meadows. We have many locations across the region and in our rural communities. Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care hospital in Sparks, is our flagship provider. A second hospital, Sierra Medical Center, is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in 2022. Sierra Medical Center will be the first full-service hospital built in the region in over a century.

 

We also provide primary care services and a wide range of specialty care through Northern Nevada Medical Group. Our providers have locations throughout Reno, Sparks, Fallon and Bishop to serve the community.

 

In addition, patients can receive a variety of outpatient surgical services at Quail Surgical and Pain Management Center.

We are looking for a dynamic Critical Care Technician  that will help provide safe and compassionate inderect care to our patients. You'll monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac screen or telemetry monitors, notifies RN of any changes and ensures all ECG tracings are obtained from the central monitoring station during patient emergencies. The concept of Patient Centered Care is our foundation of how we treat our patients.

Qualifications

High School diploma or the equivalent.
Monitor tech certificate (if not certified upon hire, must obtain during initial orientation)
Certified Nursing Assistant required
BLS certification
