Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis counseling and support to individuals in need
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate interventions
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis
- Assist with behavior management and crisis intervention strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals in crisis or with mental health challenges
- Knowledge of research-based interventions and evidence-based practices
- Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements (e.g., ICD-9)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
