Job description

$5,000 sign-on bonus for new Seneca employees in this position!

Do you believe mental health services should be provided preventively rather than reactively? Join our Mobile Response Team in delivering those preventative services!

As a Crisis Social Workerfor our mobile response team, you'll deliver proactive, early interventions before crises escalate to divert youth from more restrictive interventions. You will be responsible for completing comprehensive risk assessments, creating safety plans, and supporting youth in accessing higher levels of care when needed. Team members work with children and families providing services almost exclusively in the community: in families’ homes, schools, other community locations in Contra Costa County.

ABOUT MRT PROGRAM

The Mobile Response Team (MRT) program is made up of crisis response staff who provide community-based support to youth experiencing mental health crises. The service is intended to offer families, schools, and providers an alternative to calling 911 when law enforcement may not be necessary for the level of presenting concerns. Staff provide same-day crisis intervention services in homes, schools, and community locations in Contra Costa County.
