Become part of the Social and Community Services team at Bridgeways, a social enterprise agency that provides services to promote quality-of-life, facilitate growth, independence, and a sense of community for individuals with behavioral health conditions.


Bridgeways continues to expand its service offerings focused on decreasing incarcaration and justice involvement for members of our community with mental health and substance use disorder diagnosis. Our team provides case management and liaison services to the Everett and Marysville Municipal Mental Health Court Programs and the Everett Municipal SUD Court Program. Our program also includes a care management team that works directly with the City of Everett Community Supports Program and Snohomish County Jail Transitions Program.


The Bridgeways Criminal Justice Program (CJP) Manager oversees the programs and staff at all service sites. We are fiercely focused on evidenced based, best practice, person-centered service provision. The CJPM supervises and supports the CJP staff who act as a conduit of information between the CJP teams, identified participants and service providers.

Type & Pay: Full-time, Exempt, paid biweekly. Salary range from $70,000 - $77,000 annually, DOE

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities


· Provides leadership and direction to CJP staff providing services needed to achieve positive program outcomes and expectations.

· Manages workflow and caseload for treatment teams. Defines staff goals, communicates objectives and monitors team performance.

· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, values and applicable laws.

· Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

· Attends and participates in the CJP work-group meetings.

· Oversees staff performance to ensure that program participants are linked to available resources including but not limited to medical treatment, behavioral health services, substance use disorders (SUD) treatment, food assistance, housing, education, and employment services.

· Works in partnership with the Court, the Prosecuting Attorney, the Defense Attorney and a wide range of professionals and community-based service providers in an effort to maximize positive outcomes for participants and the community.

· Understands and ensures that staff documents care in electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with agency, contractual and state guidelines and practices safekeeping of participants’ protected health information per Bridgeways’ HIPAA policies and procedures.

· Serves as back up for case management and outreach staff including attending court hearings and presenting information related to the participant’s treatment, including any recommendations to the Court. Participates in meetings and case conferences with treatment professionals, community service providers and court personnel to discuss participant progress and develop and update the goal plan as needed. Provides group social and education services to participants.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· Master’s Degree in Social Work (preferred), Psychology or related field from a nationally accredited school.

Or

· Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field and two years experience.

· Strong understanding of available community resources, strong screening skills.

· Experience supervising outreach staff (preferred).

· Experience working with a court team, judge and or legal counsel (preferred).


OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to practice empathetic listening, humility, curiosity, and self-awareness and be able to work collaboratively with people with varied personalities, disabilities, cultures, and interests while maintaining healthy boundaries.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and state WAC requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and represent Bridgeways to public groups, clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community
  • Ability to understand and contribute to grant requests for funding opportunities.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the courts and participants.
  • Able to work as an effective team leader by providing support and having the ability to intervene on short notice with a proven ability to problem solve and seek assistance from appropriate community agencies as necessary.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to pass Background and OIG check. Convictions will not automatically disqualify you from employment with Bridgeways. We will consider the particular circumstances of each case and any additional information that can be provided.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation.
  • Appropriate licensure in good standing and/or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. May include Agency Affiliated Counselors Credential.
