Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen
- Bus tables and ensure a clean and organized dining environment
- Assist with food preparation, making dough, making pretzels, etc.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food handling, safety, and cleanliness
- get stock for the store at the end of the night
Skills:
- Experience with a POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
- Strong upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of proper sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for customers
- Familiarity with the food industry and basic food preparation techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating order totals
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
