WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 1 am
PURPOSE OF JOB:
To receive yarn to creel racks. Properly hang and splice in when needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Receive yarn to creel. (Ensure all tickets are accounted for and yarn color and lots match work order).
- Hang yarn on creel, Splice in creel.
- Bending, stooping, reaching overhead is required.
- Must have a good safety record.
- Must keep work area clean at all times.
- Able to work unsupervised and be self motivated and work well with others.
- Other duties as instructed by supervisor.
NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch
- Ability to read yarn labels
- Ability to follow instructions on warp orders
- Ability to hang 306 to 612 cones of yarn and remove 306 to 612 cones of yarn on creels in an 8-to-10-hour shift (depending on work schedule)
- Keep records on daily report
