Credit/Damages “Specialist”
Breakaway Retail Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a customer service-oriented liaison between our Delivery, Sales, Accounting, and Customer Service Teams. The role involves collecting product returns and processing claims through the appropriate Manufacturer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Returns Management
◦ Process and manage all product returns, efficiently and accurately.
◦ Determine the condition of returned items and decide the appropriate actions
(refurbishing, disposal (scrapping), sending to Store displays for resale)
◦ Work w/Sales & Customer Service to address return related queries and concerns.
- Damage Credits
◦ Initiate and follow through on damage credit claims with manufactures/suppliers
◦ Work with accounting department to ensure accurate processing and receiving of credits
◦ Maintaining accurate records of damage claims in resolution by working with Customer Service Rep
- Process Improvement
◦ Work with other managers/departments to identify opportunities for process improvements in returns handling inventory control.
- Travel between Manny’s Distribution Centers is required. The primary location is in Gardner; travel to Wilbraham and Claremont should be conducted on a regular basis.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Experience & Qualifications:
· H.S. diploma or equivalent is required.
· 5+ years of previous experience of warehouse product flow is essential
· MS Word and excel skills required
· EPass and other Product Inventory systems preferred
· Ability to read, understand, and interpret, then communicate to others, warranties, work instructions and policies, and applies practices accordingly.
· Understand and correctly complete return information in the system, maintaining accurate and up to date information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
