JOB GOAL: Under the general supervision of the Partners for Success Principal, the Credit Recovery Teacher will: provide support to students utilizing the Edgenuity online platform, assist with student management activities, document progress for stakeholders and promote a positive school climate.
MAJOR DUTIES & PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

? Assist building programs with student supervision as needed
? Monitor and support student progress on online learning platforms
? Utilize online gradebook and student management systems
? Work collaboratively with program staff, students and sending districts
? Participate in professional growth opportunities
? Utilize Restorative and Trauma Informed Practices in the classroom
? Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

? Understanding of best practices in instruction
? Working knowledge of restorative practices and the impact of trauma on development ? Thorough knowledge of written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively

Education/Preparation
? The employee shall possess the minimum of a Bachelor's degree in education along with a professional educator license.
Reasoning
? The employee must have the ability to solve complex problems in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions provided through written and oral form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel instructional materials. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
? The employee shall possess personal computing skills with the following types of software; web browsers, word processing, spreadsheet, and database systems. The employee shall use ROE approved resources, technology, and assistive technology. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a school setting.
