Job description

Citibank N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Officer for its Atlanta, GA location.
Duties: Understand applicable credit policies, industry regulations, and the requisite impact of those governance items to prospective new partners or product initiatives. Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal and external constituencies. Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial, and data analyses including profiling, sampling, forecasting, and new program due diligence. Prepare risk management presentations for senior management that include analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and opportunity. Demonstrate the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and other team members. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Adhere to policy and apply sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices. Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronics Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or a related field, and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as a Programmer Analyst, or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Applying credit and risk principles toward business goals; Utilizing Oracle, Cognos, SAS programming including macro, Tableau, OBIEE, UNIX, Informatica, and PLSQL/SQL; Developing and maintaining working knowledge of financial databases to provide data and Analytical support; Developing quarterly reports and dashboards to update management on portfolio management activities; Collecting external data and incorporating trends on macroeconomic drivers and industry outlook in relation to Credit Portfolios; Developing KPI monitoring metrics tracked as part of portfolio reviews; Understanding data migration requirement for history and transaction data to improve business migration to single-system by de-duplication and data quality enhancement; and Producing reports or presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, or recommend changes. 40 hrs./wk.
