Form of workGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Policies and Procedures: Monitor the lending portfolio to ensure that staff and lenders operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the bank policies and procedures as approved by the Board of Directors.
Underwriting: Assess the quality of analytical analysis performed by the lenders.
Allowance for Loan Losses: Review loan allowance and recommend adjustments as necessary to ensure the Bank has adequately reserved for the risk inherent in the Bank's portfolio.
Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee regulatory compliance with Federal and state regulations for the Bank. Submit accurate and timely reports as required by the Bank's board and regulatory agencies. Report to the Board and Watch List Committee on the quality of the loan portfolio.
Bank Management: Assist in achieving long-term profitability, influencing asset quality and prudent long-term strategic direction as a member of management. Support CBB's shareholders through the development of a broad array of credit and lending services.
Additional Functions: Call on banks to develop and maintain the loan volume with Regional Managers; provide advice and guidance to officers engaged in loan activities; cultivate strong peer relationships.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL TRAITS:
Bachelor's degree preferred;
Background in Bank operating policies and procedures, business development, and Banking regulations;
Ability to multi-task, completing multiple projects simultaneously, and manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes;
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally;
Strong understanding of loan participations
